DR. MOHAMED ADAM SHABAN
SPECIALIST PHYSICIAN
As a board-certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Pediatrician. I have a passion in helping kids and their families reach their healthcare goals. I grew up in Southern California and later moved to Egypt where I obtained my professional medical education at Alexandria University. I moved back to the US and completed my pediatric residency at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas, followed by a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Westchester Medical Center / New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. I have gained my experience in large academic children's hospitals including Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, NY, Valley Children's Hospital in Madera, CA, and Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, CA.

I specialize in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, reflux, vomiting, pediatric nutrition, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and chronic diarrhea. I also specialize in pediatric endoscopic procedures and remain up-to-date with the latest techniques and equipment.

​In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, discovering the latest technology tools and gadgets, and traveling. On a typical weekend, you can find me at a local park playing with RC cars with my 2 sons or enjoying discovering new sights that Southern California has to offer.

I am currently a practicing family physician and also the office manager at WCPG. My goal is to make sure each patient and family are taken care of in their healthcare needs and to address any concerns that may arise. Here at West Coast, we are committed to providing exceptional care to each child. I enjoy spending my time with my family and friends, and traveling.

I have 18 years of healthcare experience and am the surgical coordinator. I like helping our patients and their families as they navigate the medical needs of their loved ones. I love cooking with my family and spending time with them! I enjoy reading books to develop myself, dancing, and listening to music!
